
Becoming the first company within Tissue sector to make packaging interactive and communicative with trade and final customers: this is the aim of High Paper S. r. l., company of Matera, that beginning from 2012, for its line of new products with Cador brand name, will introduce within the technical information of a product the “Cador QR-code”. This is a code contains all product’s information, in this way it is possible to certify its traceability and to support technically large retailers and final customers.
The new packaging is an innovation technology able to optimize the communication about a product, guaranteeing transparency. The most important innovation for this sector is the printing on Cador’s packaging of toilet paper and napkins of a QR Code, English abbreviation of «quick response», through which it is possible real-time web access, thanks to new technologies.
The innovative choice is due to the possibility to have access to several information: technical, operative and illustrative, which ouldn’t find enough space on the packaging, covered by graphics.
In this way it is possible to use contents, always up-to-date, from the web directly on your phone. The use is immediate and intuitive: it is enough to make a picture to the label with your phone’s camera to accede, without additional passages, to all information you need.
There is a double aim in this innovation of High Paper: on one hand to give an immediate technical-informative support to large etailers or to the final customer through additional contents; on the other hand the possibility to accede to information everywhere and always, with an environmental impact equal to zero.

At the same time there is a reduction of the environmental impact through the dematerialisation of technical data, which includes important savings in the use of paper and of time spent to manage it.
This work involved for a long time the marketing’s team – directed by Alessandro Martemucci – in order to prepare the informative platform. From 2012 this innovation is operative, lots of clients use the packaging to receive wherever they are, efficiently and quickly, technical information without obstruction of exchanges and e-mail.

High Paper S.r.l. consider essential the protection of the environment, so it worked pragmatically in order to reduce the environmental impact, adopting processes and technologies moreenvironmentally friendly. The aim at short and medium-term is to highly reduce the number of prints produced and distributed, decreasing meaningfully the paper produced. Remarkable is the environmental benefit achieved by High Paper through the missed destruction of a tree and the emission of 200 kilos of CO2 less for each client. In addition to this there is the economic saving during the communication process company-client.
